Musnad Ahmad 663:4

Hassan ibn Musa narrated to us, Rafi‘ ibn Salamah—meaning al-Ashja‘i—and Salim ibn Abi al-Ja‘d narrated to us, from his father, who said: Salamah ibn Nubit al-Ashja‘i narrated to me that his father had met the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he was riding behind his father during the Farewell Pilgrimage. He said: I said, "O my father, show me the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." He said, "Stand up and take hold of the pommel of the saddle." He said: So I stood up and took hold of the pommel of the saddle. He said, "Look at the man on the red camel who is gesturing with his hand, in whose hand is a rod."
