Musnad Ahmad 709:0

Narrated to us by Yahya ibn Sa’id, from Shu’bah, who said: Narrated to us Qatadah, from Abu al-Maliḥ, from Nudayr ibn ‘Amr al-Ghifari, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Verily, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has created His creation in darkness, then He cast upon them some of His light. Whoever is touched by that light is guided, and whoever misses it goes astray. Therefore, I say that the pen has dried upon the knowledge of Allah."
