Abu Sa’id, the freed slave of Banu Hashim, narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Rashid al-Dimashqi narrated to us, Makhul narrated to us, from Kathir ibn Murrah al-Hadrami, from Nu’aym ibn Hammar, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Your Lord, Blessed and Exalted is He, says: 'O son of Adam, pray four rak'ahs for Me at the beginning of the day, and I will suffice you for the end of it.'" 'Abdullah said: My father said: There is no man in al-Sham with more authentic hadith than Sa'id ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz.
