Hadith 883:1
'Ali ibn Ishaq narrated to us, 'Abdullah informed us, Yunus ibn Yazid informed us, from 'Ata' al-Khurasani, who said: Nubayshah al-Hudhali used to narrate from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "When a Muslim performs ghusl (full ablution) on the day of Jumu'ah, then proceeds to the mosque, not harming anyone, if he does not find the Imam (having come out yet), he prays what is apparent to him. And if he finds that the Imam has come out, he sits, listens, and remains silent until the Imam finishes his Jumu'ah and his speech. If his sins are not forgiven in that Jumu'ah of his, it will be an expiation for the Jumu'ah that follows it."
حدثنا علي بن إسحاق، أخبرنا عبد الله، أخبرنا يونس بن زيد، عن عطاء الخراساني، قال: كان نبيشة الهذلي، يحدث عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " أن المسلم إذا اغتسل يوم الجمعة، ثم أقبل إلى المسجد، لا يؤذي أحدا، فإن لم يجد الإمام خرج، صلى ما بدا له، وإن وجد الإمام قد خرج، جلس فاستمع وأنصت، حتى يقضي الإمام جمعته وكلامه، إن لم يغفر له في جمعته تلك ذنوبه كلها، أن تكون كفارة للجمعة التي تليها "
