Hadith of Qabisah ibn Mukhariq (RA)

حديث قبيصة بن مخارق

Hadith 216:0

Narrated Qabisa ibn Mukhariq: I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and he said: "O Qabisa, what brought you?" I said: "I have reached an old age, my bones have become fragile, and I have come to you so that you may teach me what Allah may benefit me with." He said: "O Qabisa, there is no stone, nor tree, nor clod of earth that you pass by, except that it asks for forgiveness for you. O Qabisa, when you pray the dawn prayer, say three times after it: 'Glory be to Allah and by His praise' (Subhan Allah wa bi-hamdihi), for you will be safe from blindness, leprosy, and paralysis. O Qabisa, say: 'O Allah, I ask You for what is with You, pour upon me from Your bounty, spread Your mercy upon me, and send down upon me Your blessings.'"
