Hadith 899:1
'Arim narrated to us, Mu'tamir narrated to us, he said: And my father narrated from Abu al-'Ala' ibn 'Umayr al-Jurayri, he said: I was with Qatadah ibn Milhan when he was dying, and a man passed by in the far end of the house. He said: I saw it on the face of Qatadah. He said: "And I used to see him as if there were oil on his face." He said: "And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, had wiped his face."
حدثنا عارم، حدثنا معتمر، قال: وحدث أبي، عن أبي العلاء بن عمير الجريري، قال: كنت عند قتادة بن ملحان حين حضر، فمر رجل في أقصى الدار، قال: فأبصرته في وجه قتادة، قال: " وكنت إذا رأيته كأن على وجهه الدهان "، قال: " وكان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مسح وجهه "،
