Hadith 807:2
'Arim narrated to us, Mu'tamir narrated to us, he said: And my father narrated to me, from Abu al-'Ala' ibn 'Umayr, he said: I was with Qatadah ibn Milhan when he was dying. A man passed by at the far end of the house. He said: I saw him [the man] in the face of Qatadah. He said: And I used to see him, as if there were oil on his face. He said: "And the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, had wiped over his face."
حدثنا عارم، حدثنا معتمر قال: وحدث أبي، عن أبي العلاء بن عمير، قال: كنت عند قتادة بن ملحان حين حضر، فمر رجل في أقصى الدار، قال: فأبصرته في وجه قتادة، قال: وكنت إذا رأيته كأن على وجهه الدهان، قال: " وكان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مسح على وجهه "،
