Hadith 807:4
Bahz narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Anas ibn Sirin narrated to me, from 'Abd al-Malik, a man from the tribe of Banu Qays ibn Tha'labah, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to command them to fast the days of the bright nights (al-bid). And he would say: "They are the fasting of the month," or he said: "The [entire] time."
حدثنا بهز، حدثنا شعبة، حدثني أنس بن سيرين، عن عبد الملك، رجل من بني قيس بن ثعلبة، عن أبيه، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يأمرهم بصيام أيام البيض، ويقول: " " هن صيام الشهر "، أو قال: " الدهر "
