Musnad Ahmad 1105:2

Hassan ibn Musa narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Yazid ibn Abi Habib narrated to us, that Qais ibn Sa'd ibn 'Ubadah said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Whoever strengthens his authority through disobedience to Allah, Allah will weaken his plot on the Day of Resurrection."
