Hadith 828:3
Isma'il ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Ziyad ibn Mikhraq narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Qurrah narrated to us, from his father, that a man said: "O Messenger of Allah, I truly slaughter a sheep while I have mercy upon it," or he said: "I have mercy upon the sheep that I should slaughter it." He said: "And the sheep, if you have mercy upon it, Allah will have mercy upon you."
حدثنا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم، حدثنا زياد بن مخراق، حدثنا معاوية بن قرة، عن أبيه، أن رجلا قال: يا رسول الله، إني لأذبح الشاة، وأنا أرحمها - أو قال: إني أرحم الشاة أن أذبحها - فقال: " والشاة إن رحمتها، رحمك الله "
