Hadith 828:8
Hassan—meaning al-Ashyab—and Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, they said: Zuhayr narrated to us, from ‘Urwah ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Qushayr, from Mu‘awiyah ibn Qurrah, from his father. Abu al-Nadr said in his narration: Zuhayr narrated to me, ‘Urwah ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Qushayr Abu Muhal al-Ju‘fi narrated to us, Mu‘awiyah ibn Qurrah narrated to me, from his father, who said: "I came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, among a group from Muzaynah, and we pledged allegiance to him, and his shirt was unbuttoned." He said: "So we pledged allegiance to him, then I inserted my hand into the collar of his shirt, and I touched the Seal (of Prophethood)." ‘Urwah said: I never saw Mu‘awiyah nor his son—he said: and I think he meant Iyas—in winter nor summer, except that their buttons were undone, they would not button them.
حدثنا حسن يعني الأشيب، وأبو النضر، قالا: حدثنا زهير، عن عروة بن عبد الله بن قشير، عن معاوية بن قرة، عن أبيه، قال أبو النضر في حديثه: حدثني زهير، حدثنا عروة بن عبد الله بن قشير أبو مهل الجعفي، حدثني معاوية بن قرة، عن أبيه، قال: " أتيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في رهط من مزينة، فبايعناه وإن قميصه لمطلق "، قال: " فبايعناه، ثم أدخلت يدي في جيب قميصه، فمسست الخاتم "، قال عروة: فما رأيت معاوية ولا ابنه، قال: وأراه يعني إياسا، في شتاء قط، ولا حر إلا مطلقي إزرارهما لا يزران
