Hadith 297:6
Husayn ibn Muhammad narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Mu'awiyah Abu Iyas, who said: I heard my father, and he had reached the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, [saying]: "He wiped his head and asked for forgiveness for him."
حدثنا حسين بن محمد، قال: حدثنا شعبة، عن معاوية أبي إياس، قال: سمعت أبي وقد كان أدرك النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم " فمسح رأسه واستغفر له "
