Musnad Ahmad 819:6

'Affan narrated to us, Sulayman ibn al-Mughirah narrated to us, Humayd narrated to us, 'Abdullah ibn al-Samit narrated to us, from Abu Dharr, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, after me, there will be people from my nation who recite the Qur'an, but it will not pass beyond their throats. They will exit from the religion just as the arrow exits from the hunted game, then they will not return to it. They are the worst of creation and the creatures." Ibn al-Samit said: So I met Rafi' and narrated it to him, and he said: "And I also heard it from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)."
