Hadith 481:20
Abu al-Mughirah narrated to us, he said: al-Awza'i narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Najashi narrated to us, he said: Rafi' ibn Khadij narrated to me, he said: "We used to pray the Asr prayer with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, then we would slaughter a camel, and it would be divided into ten portions, then it would be cooked, and we would eat well-cooked meat before the sun set." He said: "And we used to pray the Maghrib prayer during the time of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and one of us would depart while he could still see the landing spots of his arrows."
حدثنا أبو المغيرة، قال: حدثنا الأوزاعي، قال: حدثنا أبو النجاشي، قال: حدثني رافع بن خديج، قال: " كنا نصلي مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صلاة العصر، ثم ننحر الجزور، فتقسم عشر قسم، ثم تطبخ، فنأكل لحما نضيجا قبل أن تغيب الشمس " قال: " وكنا نصلي المغرب على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فينصرف أحدنا وإنه لينظر إلى مواقع نبله "
