Hadith 481:25
Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, he said: I heard 'Amr, he said: Ibn 'Umar heard, he said: We used to practice *mukhabarah* (sharecropping) and we did not see any harm in that, until Rafi' claimed that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade it, so we abandoned it.
حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة، قال: سمعت عمرا، قال: سمع ابن عمر، قال: كنا نخابر ولا نرى بذلك بأسا، حتى زعم رافع " أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عنه، فتركناه "
