Hadith 481:26
Yazid narrated to us, Yahya bin Sa'id informed us, from Muhammad bin Yahya bin Habban, from Rafi' bin Khadij, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying: "There is no cutting [as a prescribed punishment for theft] for fruit, nor for the *kathar* (the cluster of dates that remains on the palm tree)."
حدثنا يزيد، أخبرنا يحيى بن سعيد، عن محمد بن يحيى بن حبان، عن رافع بن خديج، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " لا قطع في ثمر ولا كثر "
