Hadith 481:32
Ya'qub narrated to us, he said: Abu Uways 'Abdullah ibn 'Abdullah narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, who said: I asked Salim ibn 'Abdullah about the renting of farmlands. He said: Rafi' ibn Khadij informed me, in the presence of 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar, that his two paternal uncles—and they had both witnessed Badr—informed him that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade the renting of farmlands.
حدثنا يعقوب، قال: حدثنا أبو أويس عبد الله بن عبد الله، عن الزهري، قال: سألت سالم بن عبد الله، عن كراء المزارع فقال: أخبرني رافع بن خديج عند عبد الله بن عمر أن عميه وكانا قد شهدا بدرا - أخبراه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عن كراء المزارع
