Hadith 481:7
Abu Usamah narrated to us, he said: Al-Walid ibn Kathir narrated to us, he said: Bashir ibn Yasar, the freed slave of Banu Harithah, narrated to us, that Rafi' ibn Khadij and Sahl ibn Abi Hathmah narrated to him: "That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade Muzabanah—[the exchange of] fruit for dates—except for the owners of 'Araya (date palms given as gifts), for he has permitted it for them."
حدثنا أبو أسامة، قال: حدثنا الوليد بن كثير، قال: حدثنا بشير بن يسار، مولى بني حارثة، أن رافع بن خديج، وسهل بن أبي حثمة، حدثاه: " أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عن المزابنة الثمر بالتمر إلا أصحاب العرايا، فإنه قد أذن لهم "
