Hadith 179:20
Waki’ narrated to us, ‘Umar ibn Dharr narrated to us, from Mujahid, from Ibn Rafi’ ibn Khadij, from his father, who said: He came to us from the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and he said: "The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) has forbidden today a matter that used to be beneficial for us, but obedience to Allah and obedience to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) is more beneficial for us." "He forbade us from cultivating land, except for land that one of us owns the title to, or [land] granted to a man."
حدثنا وكيع، حدثنا عمر بن ذر، عن مجاهد، عن ابن رافع بن خديج، عن أبيه، قال: جاءنا من عند رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال: نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اليوم عن أمر كان يرفق بنا، وطاعة الله، وطاعة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أرفق بنا " نهانا أن نزرع أرضا، إلا أرضا يملك أحدنا رقبتها، أو منحة رجل " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
