Hadith 179:23
Hajjaj narrated to us, Layth ibn Sa'd narrated to us, from 'Uqayl, from Ibn Shihab, that he said: Salim ibn 'Abdullah informed me that 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar said: "O son of Khudayj, what is this you are narrating from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, regarding the renting of land?" Rafi' said: "I indeed heard my two uncles—and they had both witnessed Badr—narrating to the people of the house that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade the renting of land."
حدثنا حجاج، حدثنا ليث بن سعد، عن عقيل، عن ابن شهاب، أنه قال: أخبرني سالم بن عبد الله، أن عبد الله بن عمر، قال: يا ابن خديج ماذا تحدث عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في كراء الأرض؟ قال رافع: لقد سمعت عمي وكانا قد شهدا بدرا، يحدثان أهل الدار " أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عن كراء الأرض "
