Hadith 179:3
Ad-Dahhak ibn Makhlad narrated to us, from Abd al-Wahid ibn Nafi' al-Kilabi, from the people of Basra, who said: I passed by a mosque in Medina, and the prayer was called. There was an old man who blamed the muezzin and said: "Do you not know that my father informed me that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to command the delaying of this prayer?" I said: "Who is this old man?" They replied: "This is Abdullah ibn Rafi' ibn Khadij."
حدثنا الضحاك بن مخلد، عن عبد الواحد بن نافع الكلابي، من أهل البصرة، قال: مررت بمسجد بالمدينة، فأقيمت الصلاة فإذا شيخ فلام المؤذن وقال: أما علمت أن أبي أخبرني: " أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يأمر بتأخير هذه الصلاة " قال: قلت: من هذا الشيخ؟ قالوا: هذا عبد الله بن رافع بن خديج . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
