Hadith 179:9
'Affan narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Al-Hakam informed me, from Mujahid, from Rafi' ibn Khadij, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade the *haql*." He said: I said: "And what is the *haql*?" He said: "The third and the fourth." When Ibrahim heard that, he disliked the third and the fourth, and he saw no harm in the barren land that one takes for dirhams.
حدثنا عفان، قال: حدثنا شعبة، قال: الحكم أخبرني عن مجاهد، عن رافع بن خديج قال: " نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن الحقل " قال: قلت: وما الحقل؟ قال: الثلث والربع، فلما سمع ذلك إبراهيم " كره الثلث والربع، ولم ير بأسا بالأرض البيضاء يأخذها بالدراهم "
