Hadith 328:3
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, he said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, he said: 'Amr ibn Dinar informed me that Ibn Shihab informed him, from 'Ubayd Allah ibn 'Abd Allah ibn 'Utbah, from Ibn 'Abbas, from al-Sa'b ibn Juththamah, that it was said to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: "What if the cavalry raided by night and struck some of the children of the polytheists?" He said: "They are from their fathers."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق، قال: أخبرنا ابن جريج قال: أخبرني عمرو بن دينار، أن ابن شهاب أخبره، عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن عتبة، عن ابن عباس، عن الصعب بن جثامة، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قيل له: لو أن خيلا أغارت من الليل فأصابت من أبناء المشركين؟ قال: " هم من آبائهم "
