Musnad Ahmad 798:1

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad bin Salamah narrated to us, 'Abd al-Malik Abu Ja'far informed us, from Abu Nadrah, from Sa'd bin al-Atwal, that his brother died and left behind three hundred dirhams and left behind a family. I wanted to spend it on his family, but the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Indeed, your brother is detained by his debt, so pay it off on his behalf." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have paid it off on his behalf, except for two dinars which a woman claimed, and she has no evidence." He said: "Give them to her, for she is truthful."
