Hadith 982:7
Yunus narrated to us, Hammad—meaning Ibn Zayd—narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Shumaylah narrated to us, from a man who traced it back to Sa'id al-Sarraf, from Ishaq ibn Sa'd ibn 'Ubadah, from his father Sa'd ibn 'Ubadah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Verily, this tribe of the Ansar is a trial; loving them is faith, and hating them is hypocrisy."
حدثنا يونس، حدثنا حماد يعني ابن زيد، حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن أبي شميلة ، عن رجل رده إلى سعيد الصراف، عن إسحاق بن سعد بن عبادة، عن أبيه سعد بن عبادة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إن هذا الحي من الأنصار محنة حبهم إيمان، وبغضهم نفاق "
