Hadith 982:8
Khalaf ibn al-Walid narrated to us, Khalid narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad, from Isa ibn Fa'id, from a man, from Sa'd ibn Ubadah, who said: I heard—not once or twice—him saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no commander of ten except that he will be brought on the Day of Resurrection shackled; nothing will release him from those shackles except justice. And there is no man who read the Quran then forgot it, except that he will meet Allah on the day he meets Him as a leper (or: maimed)."
حدثنا خلف بن الوليد، حدثنا خالد، عن يزيد بن أبي زياد، عن عيسى بن فائد، عن رجل، عن سعد بن عبادة قال: سمعت غير مرة ولا مرتين يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ما من أمير عشرة إلا يؤتى به يوم القيامة مغلولا لا يفكه من ذلك الغل إلا العدل، وما من رجل قرأ القرآن فنسيه إلا لقي الله يوم يلقاه وهو أجذم "
