Hadith 248:1
Isma'il ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, he said: Sa'id ibn 'Ubayd ibn al-Sabbaq narrated to me, from his father, from Sahl ibn Hunayf, who said: I used to experience severe difficulty from *madhy* (pre-seminal fluid), and I used to perform *ghusl* (full ritual washing) frequently because of it. So I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, about that. He said: "It is sufficient for you to perform *wudu* (ablution) for it." I said: "What about what gets on my garment?" He said: "It is sufficient for you to take a handful of water and wipe with it over your garment where you see that it has touched."
حدثنا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم، قال: أخبرنا محمد بن إسحاق، قال: حدثني سعيد بن عبيد بن السباق، عن أبيه، عن سهل بن حنيف، قال: كنت ألقى من المذي شدة، فكنت أكثر الاغتسال منه، فسألت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن ذلك، فقال: " إنما يجزئك منه الوضوء " فقلت: كيف بما يصيب ثوبي؟ فقال: " يكفيك أن تأخذ كفا من ماء فتمسح بها من ثوبك حيث ترى أنه أصاب "
