Hadith 248:12
Rawh and Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, they said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, he said: Abd al-Karim ibn Abi al-Mukhariq narrated to me, that al-Walid ibn Malik ibn Abd al-Qays informed him—and Abd al-Razzaq said: from Abd al-Qays—that Muhammad ibn Qays, the freed slave of Sahl ibn Hunayf from Banu Sa'idah, informed him that Sahl informed him: That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, sent him and said: "You are my messenger to the people of Mecca. Say: 'Indeed, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, has sent me to greet you with peace, and he commands you with three things: Do not swear by other than Allah; and when you relieve yourselves, do not face the Qiblah, nor turn your backs to it; and do not clean yourselves with a bone or with dung.'"
حدثنا روح، وعبد الرزاق، قالا: أخبرنا ابن جريج، قال: حدثني عبد الكريم بن أبي المخارق، أن الوليد بن مالك بن عبد القيس، أخبره وقال عبد الرزاق: من عبد القيس، أن محمد بن قيس مولى سهل بن حنيف من بني ساعدة، أخبره أن سهلا، أخبره: أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بعثه قال: " أنت رسولي إلى أهل مكة، قل: إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أرسلني يقرأ عليكم السلام، ويأمركم بثلاث: لا تحلفوا بغير الله، وإذا تخليتم فلا تستقبلوا القبلة، ولا تستدبروها، ولا تستنجوا بعظم، ولا ببعرة "
