Hadith 248:5
Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, he said: Huzam ibn Isma'il al-'Amiri narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq al-Shaybani, from Yasir ibn 'Amr, who said: I entered upon Sahl ibn Hunayf and said: "Narrate to me what you heard from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, regarding the Haruriyyah." He said: "I will narrate to you what I heard; I will not add anything to it. I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, mention a people who will emerge from here"—and he gestured with his hand toward Iraq—"they recite the Quran, but it does not pass beyond their throats. They pass through the religion just as an arrow passes through the game." I said: "Did he mention a sign for them?" He said: "This is what I heard; I will not add anything to it."
