Musnad Ahmad 337:5

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to me, he said: Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Muslim ibn Abi Maryam, from 'Ata' ibn Yasar, from al-Sa'ib ibn Khallad, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever frightens the people of Medina, Allah the Almighty will frighten him, and upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind. Allah will not accept from him any obligatory deed nor any supererogatory deed."
