Musnad Ahmad 1127:1

Yunus narrated to us, Abu Ma'shar narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Wahhab, from 'Amr ibn Shurahbil ibn Sa'id ibn Sa'd ibn 'Ubadah, narrating from his father, from his grandfather, who said: Sa'd ibn 'Ubadah was present with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, if I found a man upon the belly of my wife, should I strike him with my sword?" He said: "What evidence is clearer than the sword?" Then he retracted his statement and said: "The Book of Allah and the witnesses." Sa'd said: "O Messenger of Allah, what evidence is clearer than the sword?" He said: "The Book of Allah and the witnesses. O assembly of the Ansar, this is your leader; jealousy has provoked him until he opposed the Book of Allah." A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, Sa'd is a jealous man, and he has never divorced a wife such that any of us could marry her, due to his jealousy." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Sa'd is jealous, and I am more jealous than him, and Allah is more jealous than me." A man said: "Over what does Allah feel jealousy?" He said: "Over a man who struggles in the way of Allah, then goes behind his back to his family."
