Hadith 682:0
Narrated to us by Hisham, from Qatadah, from Salamah ibn Qays, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When you perform Wudu, perform it thoroughly, and when you ask, ask with your palm facing upward, and when you beg, beg with your palm facing downward." He said: And he (the Prophet) said: "The best of your charity is what is given when you are free of need, and the upper hand is better than the lower hand, and begin with those whom you support."
