Hadith 1269:0
Narrated Salma bint Qays: I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and he was in a tent or a pavilion. A man was with him, and he said: "O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about such and such?" He said: "I see that you should do such and such." She said: I heard him say: "The best of your men are those who are not arrogant, who are not boastful, and who are not stingy. And the worst of your men are those who are arrogant, who are boastful, and who are stingy." She said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, what about the women?" He said: "The same applies to them. The best of your women are those who are not arrogant, who are not boastful, and who are not stingy. And the worst of your women are those who are arrogant, who are boastful, and who are stingy."
