Hadith 1089:1
Waki’ narrated to us, al-A’mash narrated to us, from Ibrahim, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid, from Salman, who said: Some of the polytheists said, mocking him: "I see that your companion teaches you even how to defecate." Salman said: "Yes. He commanded us not to face the Qibla, not to clean ourselves with our right hands, and not to suffice with fewer than three stones, which must not contain dung or bone." *** Yahya ibn Ishaq narrated to us, Sharik informed us, from ‘Ubayd al-Maktab, from Abu al-Tufayl, from Salman, who said: "The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, used to accept gifts, but he would not accept charity." ‘Abdullah said: And ‘Ali ibn Hakim narrated it to us, Sharik informed us, from ‘Ubayd al-Maktab, with his chain of narration, similar to it.
حدثنا وكيع، حدثنا الأعمش، عن إبراهيم، عن عبد الرحمن بن يزيد، عن سلمان، قال: قال بعض المشركين وهم يستهزئون به: إني لأرى صاحبكم يعلمكم حتى الخراءة قال سلمان: أجل " أمرنا أن لا نستقبل القبلة، ولا نستنجي بأيماننا، ولا نكتفي بدون ثلاثة أحجار ليس فيها رجيع ولا عظم " * 23704 - حدثنا يحيى بن إسحاق، أخبرنا شريك، عن عبيد المكتب، عن أبي الطفيل، عن سلمان، قال: " كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقبل الهدية، ولا يقبل الصدقة " قال عبد الله: وحدثناه علي بن حكيم، أخبرنا شريك، عن عبيد المكتب بإسناده نحوه
