Hadith 1089:28
Shuja' ibn al-Walid narrated to us, he said: Qabus ibn Abi Zabyan mentioned it, from his father, from Salman, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: "O Salman, do not hate me, for then you would depart from your religion." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, how could I hate you when it is through you that Allah guided us?" He said: "You hate the Arabs, and thereby you hate me."
حدثنا شجاع بن الوليد، قال: ذكره قابوس بن أبي ظبيان، عن أبيه، عن سلمان، قال: قال لي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " يا سلمان لا تبغضني فتفارق دينك " قال: قلت: يا رسول الله، وكيف أبغضك وبك هدانا الله؟ قال: " تبغض العرب فتبغضني "
