Hadith 1089:29
'Affan narrated to us, Qays ibn al-Rabi' narrated to us, Abu Hashim narrated to us, from Zadhan, from Salman, who said: I read in the Torah: "The blessing of food is the ablution (wudu) after it." He said: So I mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and I informed him of what I had read in the Torah. He said: "The blessing of food is the ablution before it and the ablution after it."
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا قيس بن الربيع، حدثنا أبو هاشم، عن زاذان، عن سلمان، قال: قرأت في التوراة: بركة الطعام الوضوء بعده، قال: فذكرت ذلك لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وأخبرته بما قرأت في التوراة فقال: " بركة الطعام الوضوء قبله والوضوء بعده "
