Hadith 1089:3
Mu'awiyah ibn 'Amr narrated to us, Za'idah narrated to us, 'Umar ibn Qays al-Masir narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Abi Qurrah, who said: Hudhayfah was in al-Mada'in, and he used to mention things that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, had said. Hudhayfah came to Salman, and Salman said: "O Hudhayfah, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, used to get angry and speak, and he used to be pleased and speak. I certainly know that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, delivered a sermon and said: 'Whichever man from my nation I have insulted with an insult during my anger, or cursed with a curse, then I am only one of the children of Adam; I get angry as they get angry. And I was only sent as a mercy to the worlds, so make it a prayer for him on the Day of Resurrection.'"
حدثنا معاوية بن عمرو، حدثنا زائدة، حدثنا عمر بن قيس الماصر، عن عمرو بن أبي قرة، قال: كان حذيفة بالمدائن، فكان يذكر أشياء قالها رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فجاء حذيفة إلى سلمان، فيقول سلمان: يا حذيفة، إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يغضب فيقول: ويرضى ويقول: لقد علمت أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم خطب فقال: " أيما رجل من أمتي سببته سبة في غضبي، أو لعنته لعنة، فإنما أنا من ولد آدم أغضب كما يغضبون، وإنما بعثني رحمة للعالمين فاجعلها صلاة عليه يوم القيامة "
