Hadith 1089:35
Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, Yazid ibn Abi Habib narrated to us, from a man from 'Abd al-Qays, from Salman, who said: When I said, "And where does this fall in relation to what is upon me, O Messenger of Allah?" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, took it and turned it over on his tongue. Then he said, "Take it and pay them in full from it." So I took it and paid them their full right from it, forty uqiyah.
حدثنا يعقوب، حدثنا أبي، عن ابن إسحاق، حدثنا يزيد بن أبي حبيب، عن رجل، من عبد القيس ، عن سلمان ، قال: لما قلت: وأين تقع هذه من الذي علي يا رسول الله؟ أخذها رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقلبها على لسانه، ثم قال: " خذها فأوفهم منها " فأخذتها فأوفيتهم منها حقهم كله أربعين أوقية
