Hadith 1089:5
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Mansur and al-A'mash, from Ibrahim, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid, from Salman al-Farisi, who said: The polytheists said to him, "We see that your companion teaches you everything, even how to defecate." He said, "Yes, he forbids one of us from cleaning himself with his right hand, or facing the Qibla, and he forbids us from using dung and bones." And he said, "None of you should clean himself with fewer than three stones."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي، حدثنا سفيان، عن منصور، والأعمش، عن إبراهيم، عن عبد الرحمن بن يزيد، عن سلمان الفارسي، قال: قال له المشركون: إنا نرى صاحبكم يعلمكم حتى يعلمكم الخراءة قال: أجل، إنه ينهانا أن يستنجي أحدنا بيمينه، أو يستقبل القبلة، وينهانا عن الروث والعظام وقال: " لا يستنجي أحدكم بدون ثلاثة أحجار "
