Hadith 1089:9
Abu Kamil narrated to us, Israel narrated to us, Abu Ishaq narrated to us, from Abu Qurrah al-Kindi, from Salman al-Farisi, who said: I was from the sons of the Persian cavalry. He mentioned the hadith, and said: So I set off, with one land raising me and another lowering me, until I passed by some people of the Bedouin, who enslaved me and sold me, until a woman bought me. I heard them mentioning the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and life was difficult. I said to her: "Grant me a day." She said: "Yes." So I went and gathered firewood, sold it, and prepared food. I brought it to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and placed it before him. He said: "What is this?" I said: "Charity." He said to his companions: "Eat," and he did not eat. I said: "This is one of his signs." Then I remained for as long as Allah willed that I remain. I said to my mistress: "Grant me a day." She said: "Yes." So I went and gathered firewood, sold it for more than that, and prepared food. I brought it to him while he was sitting among his companions, and I placed it before him. He said: "What is this?" I said: "A gift." He placed his hand [on it] and said to his companions: "Take, in the name of Allah." I stood behind him, and he lowered his garment, and there was the Seal of Prophethood. I said: "I bear witness that you are the Messenger of Allah." He said: "And what is that?" So I told him about the man, and I said: "Will he enter Paradise, O Messenger of Allah, for he told me that you are a Prophet?" He said: "No one will enter Paradise except a Muslim soul." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, he informed me that you are a Prophet; will he enter Paradise?" He said: "No one will enter Paradise except a Muslim soul."
حدثنا أبو كامل، حدثنا إسرائيل، حدثنا أبو إسحاق، عن أبي قرة الكندي، عن سلمان الفارسي، قال: كنت من أبناء أساورة فارس، فذكر الحديث، قال: فانطلقت ترفعني أرض، وتخفضني أخرى، حتى مررت على قوم من الأعراب فاستعبدوني فباعوني حتى اشترتني امرأة، فسمعتهم يذكرون النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وكان العيش عزيزا، فقلت لها: هبي لي يوما، فقالت: نعم، فانطلقت فاحتطبت حطبا، فبعته فصنعت طعاما، فأتيت به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فوضعته بين يديه، فقال: " ما هذا؟ " فقلت: صدقة، فقال لأصحابه: " كلوا " ولم يأكل، قلت: هذه من علاماته، ثم مكثت ما شاء الله أن أمكث، فقلت لمولاتي: هبي لي يوما، قالت: نعم، فانطلقت فاحتطبت حطبا، فبعته بأكثر من ذلك فصنعت طعاما، فأتيته به وهو جالس بين أصحابه، فوضعته بين يديه فقال: " ما هذا؟ " قلت: هدية، فوضع يده، وقال لأصحابه: " خذوا بسم الله "، وقمت خلفه، فوضع رداءه، فإذا خاتم النبوة، فقلت: أشهد أنك رسول الله فقال: " وما ذاك؟ " فحدثته عن الرجل، وقلت: أيدخل الجنة يا رسول الله، فإنه حدثني أنك نبي؟ فقال: " لن يدخل الجنة إلا نفس مسلمة " فقلت: يا رسول الله، إنه أخبرني أنك نبي أيدخل الجنة؟ قال: " لن يدخل الجنة إلا نفس مسلمة "
