Hadith 564:10
'Affan narrated to us, Hammad—meaning Ibn Salamah—narrated to us, he said: Ayyub, Habib, Yunus, and Qatadah informed us, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Salman ibn 'Amir al-Dabbi, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "For the boy, there is an 'Aqiqah (sacrifice), so shed blood on his behalf, and remove the harm from him."
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا حماد يعني ابن سلمة، قال: أخبرنا أيوب، وحبيب، ويونس، وقتادة، عن محمد بن سيرين، عن سلمان بن عامر الضبي، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " في الغلام عقيقته فأهريقوا عنه دما، وأميطوا عنه الأذى "
