Hadith 564:4
Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, from 'Asim, from Hafsah, from al-Rabab, from her paternal uncle Salman ibn 'Amir al-Dabbi, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: "Let one of you break his fast with dates, for if he does not find any, then let him break his fast with water, for it is purifying. With the boy is his 'aqiqah (sacrifice), so remove the harm from him and shed blood for him. And charity given to a relative is two things: charity and maintaining ties."
حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة، عن عاصم، عن حفصة، عن الرباب، عن عمها سلمان بن عامر الضبي، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " ليفطر يعني أحدكم على تمر، فإن لم يجد فليفطر على ماء فإنه طهور، مع الغلام عقيقتة فأميطوا عنه الأذى أريقوا عنه دما، والصدقة على ذي القرابة ثنتان: صدقة وصلة،
