Hadith 296:14
Yunus narrated to us, he said: Hammad—meaning Ibn Zayd—narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Salman ibn Amir—Ayyub did not mention the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace—and Hisham, from Muhammad, from Salman, who attributed it to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that he said: "For the boy, there is an 'aqiqah (sacrifice), so shed blood for him and remove the harm from him."
حدثنا يونس، قال: حدثنا حماد يعني ابن زيد، عن أيوب، عن محمد بن سيرين، عن سلمان بن عامر، لم يذكر أيوب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وهشام، عن محمد، عن سلمان رفعه إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال: " عن الغلام عقيقة، فأهريقوا عنه دما، وأميطوا عنه الأذى "
