Hadith 296:16
'Abd al-Wahhab ibn 'Ata narrated to us, from Ibn 'Awn and Sa'id, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Salman ibn 'Amir, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "With the boy is his 'Aqiqah (sacrifice), so shed blood for him and remove the harm from him." He said: And Ibn Sirin used to say: "If the removal of the harm is not the shaving of the head, then I do not know what it is."
حدثنا عبد الوهاب بن عطاء، عن ابن عون، وسعيد، عن محمد بن سيرين، عن سلمان بن عامر، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " مع الغلام عقيقته فأريقوا عنه الدم، وأميطوا عنه الأذى " قال: وكان ابن سيرين يقول: " إن لم تكن إماطة الأذى حلق الرأس، فلا أدري ما هو؟ "
