Hadith 296:18
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Asim, from Hafsah, from Salman ibn 'Amir, from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that he said: "Whoever finds dates, let him break his fast with them. If he does not find dates, let him break his fast with water, for water is purifying."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، قال: حدثنا شعبة، عن عاصم، عن حفصة، عن سلمان بن عامر، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال: " من وجد تمرا فليفطر عليه، فإن لم يجد تمرا فليفطر على الماء، فإن الماء طهور "
