Hadith 296:3
Waki' narrated to us, he said: Ibn 'Awn narrated to us, from Hafsa bint Sirin, from al-Rabab bint Sulay', from Salman ibn 'Amir al-Dabbi, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Charity given to the needy is charity, and when given to a relative, it is two things: maintaining ties of kinship and charity."
حدثنا وكيع، قال: حدثنا ابن عون، عن حفصة بنت سيرين، عن الرباب بنت صليع، عن سلمان بن عامر الضبي، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " الصدقة على المسكين صدقة، وهي على ذي القرابة اثنتان: صلة، وصدقة "
