Hadith 296:8
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, he said: Hisham informed us, from Hafsa bint Sirin, from al-Rabab, from Salman ibn 'Amir, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "If one of you breaks his fast, let him break it with dates, for if he does not find any, let him break it with water, for water is purifying." And he said: "With the boy is his 'aqiqah (sacrifice), so shed blood for him and remove the harm from him." And he said: "Charity given to a poor person is charity, and for a relative, it is two: maintaining ties of kinship and charity."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق، قال: أخبرنا هشام، عن حفصة ابنة سيرين، عن الرباب، عن سلمان بن عامر، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا أفطر أحدكم فليفطر على تمر، فإن لم يجد فليفطر بماء فإن الماء طهور " وقال: " مع الغلام عقيقته، فأهريقوا عنه دما، وأميطوا عنه الأذى " وقال: " الصدقة على المسكين صدقة، وهي على ذي الرحم اثنتان: صلة، وصدقة "
