Hadith 296:9
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Hisham informed us, from Hafsa, from Salman ibn Amir, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "Charity given to the needy person is charity, and charity given to a relative is two things: charity and maintaining ties of kinship."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون، قال: أخبرنا هشام، عن حفصة، عن سلمان بن عامر، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " الصدقة على المسكين صدقة، والصدقة على ذي الرحم اثنتان: صدقة، وصلة "
