And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)

ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم

Hadith 799:1

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Mansur, from Hilal ibn Yasaf, from Rabi' ibn 'Umaylah, from Samurah ibn Jundub, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Do not name your servant Aflah (successful), nor Najih (prosperous), nor Yasar (wealth/ease), nor Rabah (profit). For if you say, 'Is he there?' or 'Is so-and-so there?' they will say, 'No.'"

حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، حدثنا شعبة، عن منصور، عن هلال بن يساف، عن ربيع بن عميلة، عن سمرة بن جندب، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " لا تسم غلامك أفلح، ولا نجيحا، ولا يسارا، ولا رباحا، فإنك إذا قلت: أثم هو، أو ثم فلان؟ قالوا: لا "
