And from the Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث سمرة بن جندب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 799:10
Bahz narrated to us, Hammam and Yazid narrated to us, Hammam informed us, and 'Affan narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, Qudamah ibn Wabarrah—a man from Banu 'Ajif—narrated to me, from Samurah ibn Jundub, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Whoever leaves a Jumu'ah (Friday prayer) without an excuse, let him give a dinar in charity. If he does not find one, then half a dinar."
حدثنا بهز، حدثنا همام، ويزيد، أخبرنا همام، وحدثنا عفان، حدثنا همام، حدثنا قتادة، حدثني قدامة بن وبرة، رجل من بني عجيف، عن سمرة بن جندب، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " من ترك جمعة في غير عذر فليتصدق بدينار، فإن لم يجد، فنصف دينار " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
